SSM Healths healing legacy originated in St. Louis, Missouri over 150 years ago where five nuns, known as the Sisters of St. Marys, were called to aid and heal in Gods name. Since those humble beginnings, SSM Health has grown to become one of the largest Catholic not-for-profit integrated health systems serving the Midwest.
