Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Track and manage expenses, ensuring budget adherence.
• Collaborate with external accountants for tax filing and audits.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide general support for financial and accounting matters as needed.
• Answer inbound telephone calls / greet onsite clients

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong understanding of Excel is required.
