Job Description

*Summary:* We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in wound care to join our team in the Pinehurst, NC area. This is a full-time 5 days per week position. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned patients in the in-home, nursing home and assisted living settings. This position requires the NP/PA to travel in a designated area to perform wound care.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Manage wound care at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
* Manage wound care in the in-home setting
* Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
* Assess, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms
* Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care
* Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
* Maintain accurate patient medical records
* Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

*Responsibilities:*
* Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
* Familiarity with medical software and equipment
* Ability to build rapport with patients
* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge and experience of wound and ostomy care

*Education and Experience:*
* Master of Science in Nursing/PA equivalent
* Must be Board Certified in NC
* Excellent customer service skills

Full-time position available (Monday – Friday)
Flexible work hours, NO night or weekend calls, great staff to work with!
Potential bonus pay!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
