Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cleared Nuclear Surety Systems Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base, supporting a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will be responsible for acting as the technical liaison and action officer, facilitating collaboration between the Flight Systems Division, the prime contractor, and external stakeholders in relation to MBSE System Engineering disciplines. This role specifically oversees Re-entry Vehicle development, ensuring the safety, security, surety, and control of the re-entry vehicle. They will review MBSE models pertaining to the re-entry vehicle's nuclear surety to identify and mitigate deficiencies that could delay development.

Must Haves

7+ years of experience within the following (Master's Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)

• Experience with Model-Based System Engineering tools (DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody, SysML,etc.)
• Engineering experience supporting the DoD Nuclear Enterprise (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are ideal)
• Experience with integrated requirements into existing acquisition lifecycle phases, milestones, and deliverables with system engineering principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineer, Physics, or Mathematics
• Active Secret Clearance + TS and SAP eligible
• Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily (located in Clearfield, UT)

Plusses

• Nuclear Surety experience (Nuclear Safety, Security, Reliability, and Control)
• Any ICBM, Support Equipment, or RS/RV experience
• Any experience with AFOTEC or related organization of the DoD

Active TS or TSSCI Clearance

Compensation:

$130,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary.
