Job Description

Family with twin 10 year olds living in Cos Cob, Connecticut looking to hire a Live In Nanny/Housekeeper.


The Ideal Candidate: Someone who is happy, engaged and is an early riser. The days would begin at 6am helping the twins get off to school by making them a light breakfast (eggs, toast, cereal waffles, etc). The children will then need to be dropped off at separate schools. At this time, the nanny can chose to do the housework or take a break. The tasks that would need to be completed around the home is keeping the home tidy in between deep cleans, laundry, dishes, running errands. The first child will need to be picked up at 3pm and the second at 3:30. Once home, the children will need to do their homework, eat dinner and possibly have an activity to be driven to.


What Works Best for Family: Someone who can manage the twins since mom works a lot and dad lives in another city Monday-Wednesday. The nanny must be ok taking long breaks during the day since mom doesn't come home from work until later in the evening and the nanny will be expected to be "living in" Monday-Thursday evening. The nanny can be off Friday at 2pm and throughout the weekend.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$34 per hour
• Living Accommodations: Live In
• Vacation: 2 weeks
