• Set up and adjust welding equipment, including gases and consumables, to produce quality welds.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on welding equipment as needed.
• Position fabricated components using jigs and fixtures and prepare surfaces for welding by grinding components.
• Execute various welding operations, such as stitch and tack welding, following blueprint specifications and weld symbols.
• Conduct quality control inspections and troubleshoot any weld quality issues.
• Clean welded components and perform rework if necessary.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on new product welding procedures.
• Fabricate component parts using metal fabrication equipment and perform setup and troubleshooting of this equipment.
• Inspect and measure fabricated components for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.
• Accurately record work order information and inventory transactions.
