Job Description

We are seeking the ideal candidate for our front staff position to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

This is a forward patient-facing position, we use Athena EHR/EMR and are looking to add someone with experience and charm to our team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Athena EHR is a huge plus; We are looking for someone with experience with this system.
• Ideal candidates have front desk experience
• Have the ability to work multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
• Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate positively and calmly in stressful situations
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows is a plus
• Providing clerical and administrative support
• Providing information and support to staff and clients
• Responding to internal and external requests
• Answering phones, data entry, filing, email, Internet, etc
• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
