Responsibilities for a Medical Billing Specialist include but are not limited to:

• Obtain authorizations in a timely and efficient manner for scheduled patients.

• Provide accurate cost estimates to patients prior to the start of treatment.

• Scrub the Daily Appointment Report (DAR) to ensure all patients have active authorizations on file.

• Assist with claims reimbursement for patients with grants.

• Collaborate closely with the remote team and receive training from the Senior PAA.

Candidates for Medical Billing Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher).

• Previous medical billing experience and authorization knowledge .

• Ability to navigate major payor portals efficiently.

• Oncology experience preferred (not required).

• Business casual dress code; in-person interview required.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

• Location: Onsite at either MC or Bay Area Cancer Center.

Pay Details: $33.48 per hour
