A BETTER US STARTS WITH U! At the YMCA, we are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in digital content management, social media, email marketing, and content creation. If you are a creative and organized individual excited to learn and grow while making a positive impact, this opportunity is for you!

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Assist in editing and compiling promotional materials for YMCA programs and events.
• Schedule content for digital platforms including social media, email marketing, and website.
• Brainstorm and develop digital content across various social media channels.
• Make light content edits to design templates for marketing materials.
• Collect photos, videos, and stories highlighting YMCA programs and success stories.
• Organize and manage video, photo, and graphic asset library.
• Implement SEO strategies to enhance the visibility of YMCA content online.
• Perform other marketing-related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Strong interest in marketing, digital content creation, and social media.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design programs like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Hootsuite, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Google Analytics, or email marketing tools.
• Basic web editing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and creativity in content design and execution.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Must be able to travel locally to other Y branches as needed.
• Schedule to be determined with the candidate, including at least 15 hours per week during weekdays.
