Job Description

Johnstone Supply is seeking a creative and ambitious Marketing intern. This role will provide hands-on experience across various areas of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and market research. You will closely work with our marketing team to support campaigns, build brand awareness, and drive engagement.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and other digital marketing materials

Social Media Management

• Help plan, schedule, and post content on social media platforms. Monitor engagement and assist in analyzing performance metrics.

Market Research

• Research competitors, trends, and customer preferences to provide insights for marketing strategies

Campaign Support

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, digital ads, and events

Analytics and Reporting

 

• Track and report on key performance metrics, including social media engagement, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness

Collaboration

 

• Work with sales and product teams to ensure cohesive and effective messaging across all channels

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with design tools like Canva is a bonus
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
