Location:   Various locations across Washington

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the organization’s mission, programs, and services. This role involves managing the organization’s brand, creating marketing materials, and maintaining relationships with media outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and communication plans.
  • Create content for newsletters, social media, websites, and other marketing materials.
  • Manage the organization’s social media presence and online reputation.
  • Coordinate media relations and respond to media inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics.
  • Assist in planning and promoting fundraising events and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and marketing software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
