About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director for Executive and Professional Search. The successful candidate will be a key player in the team's success, with a focus on independently identifying, developing, and growing opportunities in critical markets. This role involves directing and building the activities of a practice, with a strong emphasis on new business development, client retention, and search execution. The Managing Director will be responsible for driving strategic marketing and sales plans, ensuring that all business and financial goals are met, and will be expected to maintain and grow client relationships, particularly with leaders in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 7 years' of progressive recruiting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a retained search environment. The role requires a proven track record in establishing new clients and selling executive search services, as well as outstanding communication skills. While not mandatory, experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical recruiting is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at using MS Word, Excel, and LinkedIn Recruiter, and must be willing to travel 25-30% of the time. The Managing Director will also be responsible for leading a team, fostering a collaborative environment, and may directly manage a team of search consultants and researchers.
