What You'll Work On

• Oversee daily operations of agile engineering teams specializing in blockchain technologies.
• Design, build, and maintain blockchain APIs and user-facing decentralized applications (dApps), services, and systems.
• Provide technical and architectural direction for the development of blockchain solutions.
• Lead agile methodologies tailored for blockchain engineering teams and introduce industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering contributions with company goals.
• Foster the complete lifecycle of team management to attract and retain top blockchain talent.
• Act as a technology ambassador for the engineering team within the blockchain ecosystem.
• Manage technical debt associated with blockchain systems.
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the management team.
• Coordinate the execution of cross-functional activities that integrate blockchain innovation with other areas of the organization.

What You'll Bring To Circle

• 3+ years of experience with technical leadership.
• 7+ years of experience with software engineering.
• 3+ years experience coding in one of the following languages: Go, Java, and/or Javascript.
• Hands-on technical manager experienced in designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable products and services.
• You love coaching and building leaders.
• You have a passion for enabling and motivating people to do their best work.
• You work well cross-functionally and think rigorously.
• You have experience managing remote teams.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy and responsibilities.

Circle offers a competitive compensation package, with a base pay range of $182,500 - $240,000. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
