Via Elegante Assisted Living and Memory Care is Southern Arizona's premier provider of assisted living and memory care services. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our Sierra Vista communities running smoothly and looking their best.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an essential role in keeping our residents comfortable and our facilities in great condition. You'll handle a variety of repair, upkeep, and improvement tasks throughout the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing general maintenance work orders promptly and professionally (painting, patching, plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, etc.).

• Preparing and staging rooms for new residents.

• Moving furniture and assisting with setup for community needs or events.

• Performing seasonal and preventive maintenance.

• Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks and supplies.

• Conducting monthly safety inspections and addressing any issues right away.

• Coordinating with outside vendors for specialized repairs when needed.

• Responding quickly to urgent maintenance or safety concerns.

• Hands-on experience with general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

• Ability to troubleshoot and find efficient solutions to maintenance challenges.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work.

• Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents and staff.

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.

• At least 6 years of general maintenance or repair experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license.

• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain within 20 days of hire).

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

This position serves both of our Sierra Vista communities in Hereford, AZ.

Pay: $45,000 – $55,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. (with occasional weekend or emergency availability)
