We are looking for an assistant (or even a married couple with the wife helping in housekeeping or cooking). This person will assist our maintenance man with carpentry projects, general repairs, mechanical equipment upkeep, landscaping and gardening, and general janitorial tasks. No experience is necessary. It is a great opportunity to apprentice and learn various skills, as well as living at a retreat center in the mountains of SC. An hourly wage will be paid based on skill level and experience. Salary can also include free room and some board. We will consider part-time help, especially in conjunction with studying/working online or for a time of discernment and prayer. Looking for a 3-month commitment, with the opportunity to renew. If married, there is an option for the spouse to work as well, part or full time, with general upkeep around the retreat center.
