The
Machine Operator/Spot Welder position is located in
Dixon, IL, and will perform spot welding using designated machinery and production methods. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, 4 am to 2 pm.
Role Responsibilities :
\n - Performs spot welding using designated machinery and production method
\n - Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
\n - Inspects welds for quality and accuracy
\n - Recognize and understand the functions and capabilities of the welder, H-clip machine, and lock seam machine to ensure correct operation and efficient changeovers
\n - Maintain safety standards and use required PPE
\n - Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures
\n - Complete production documentation and traceability logs.

Minimum Qualifications :
\n - A combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent.
\n - Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
\n - Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
\n - Ability to lift 35-50 lbs. and stand for long periods
\n

Preferred Qualifications: \n - Prior experience in Manufacturing or welding
\n - Minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience
\n
\n
Hourly Rate : $20.69
Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.
