Localization Project Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday onsite)

Pay: Up to $49.80/hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and will require this person to be onsite 3 days per week in their Austin, TX office.

Localization Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead localization projects from beginning to end.
• Utilize the in-house translation management software and translation memory tools for projects.
• Lead and direct localization vendors and internal cross-functional partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for urgent localization requests that come in.
• Handle Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) on assigned portfolio.
• Help build and manipulate reporting within the organization.
• Handle handoff review meetings, gather feedback, and push out localization projects based on specific needs.
• Work on localization content for the eCommerce experience, store applications, and other platforms.

Localization Project Manager Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience running projects at either an agency or client side.
• Experience in localization, internationalization, or globalization projects.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience ideally in WorldServer or similar platforms.
• Linguistic skill in language other than English is a PLUS; excellent English communication skills.
