HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

• Number of Beds - 24
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift Primary Nursing – Charge Nurse – 4 RN- 2 PCT- 1 Unit secretary.
  • Day Shift Team Nursing Model – Charge Nurse – 3 RN’s – 2 LPN’s and 3 PCT’s
• Night Shift – Charge Nurse – 4 RN- 2 PCT
• Nights Shift Team Nursing Model – Charge Nurse – 3 RN’s – 2 LPN’s and 2 PCT’s
• Patient Ratios – Primary Nursing 1: 6/7 Team Nursing Model RN’s 1/8 and LPN’s 12
• Type of equipment - Telemetry, EKG machine, Bladder scanner, PCA, Blood warmer, Zoll Pacer, CTubes, TR Bands, Wound care
• EMR – Meditech
• Rotate weekends and to do holidays as needed
• Floating- Yes will float to like departments as needed ( med -surg /cardiac patients )
• Experience- would like at least 1 year and some telemetry experiences
• Hospital certifications- BLS, prefer ACLS, basic telemetry

Must have: candidates without these skills.\n\n Telemetry experience preferred and Critical thinking skills\n Cardiac gtts – Cardizem and Heparin\n Must be able to care for 6/7 patients, meditech experience and to function independently\n \n\nPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n\n2 yrs of experience \nACLS\nStart IV’s, able to read tele strips, NG tubes, wound vac’s, cardiac gtts pre and post stents\n \n\nList typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n\n Bedside procedures chest tubes, lumbar punctures, TR Band recovery, Wound Vac assist, Trach Care, cardiac gtts such as Cardizem. \n NG Tubes, IV starts and EKG\nBest personality Fit:\n\n Highly engaged positive team player, adaptable and flexibility. Willing to learn Team Nursing Model how we have integrated LPN’s into our units\nREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:\n\nBLS and preferred ACLS
