*Description* Summary: We are looking for a Linguist to help us develop language components for voice-enabled technologies and products. Candidates should have native or near-native fluency in Hindi, Telugu, and/or Bengali, with experience in linguistic data analysis and language technology. Responsibilities include managing data collection, LLM-powered data synthesis, data annotation, prompt engineering, localization, and quality evaluations. Job Responsibilities: Provide linguistic expertise in syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics. Collaborate with linguists and data teams in data collection, curation, translation, localization, and annotation. Evaluate and curate datasets for ML models using LLM solutions. Assess model and data quality. Perform prompt engineering. Develop complex and consistent linguistic analyses collaboratively. Required Qualifications: Masters in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Speech Science, or related field. Native or near-native fluency in Hindi, Telugu, and/or Bengali. Knowledge of Indian languages and cultural nuances. Experience with speech and text data in multiple languages. Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and their applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with database queries and data analysis tools (SQL, R, Unix, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Linguistics or related fields. Proficiency in Python. Experience with machine learning frameworks and NLP tools. This position is subject to fair chance hiring laws.
