Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist in our office you will work directly with our Chiropractors to assess the needs of patients and provide therapeutic massage treatments to enhance healing, relieve muscle tension, promote relaxation and improve overall well-being. Your expertise in deep tissue massage, pain management, and patient service will contribute to the exceptional care we provide to our clients.

Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue, therapeutic, and sports massage
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide relief from acute and chronic pain through targeted massage therapy
- Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns
- Collaborate with the Chiropractors to support patients' overall health goals
- Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance their well-being
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times

Skills:
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques
- Knowledge of occupational health principles
- Strong understanding of pain management strategies
- Familiarity with acute pain management techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on providing a comfortable and relaxing environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Strong assessment skills to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

Pay range is based on experience. $30-$40 per hour is the rate for when therapist is actively massaging. At times when a massage is canceled last minute or is unable to be filled, therapist will be paid a different rate, but will still be compensated.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
