We are looking for a full-time Leasing Consultant. A person in this position will report to the Community Manager. As a Leasing Agent, you will become the public face of our property and the key liaison between the management office and our current and prospective renters. We're looking for an experienced, friendly, outgoing individual who has previous sales experience. The perfect candidate must possess very strong customer service skills and be able to project rent increases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Warmly meet and greet prospective residents and provide tours
• Effectively showcase the benefits of the apartments and community
• Effectively communicate with prospects to help them find an apartment to call home
• Guide prospects through the application process
• Conduct background and credit checks on applicants
• Prepare and execute lease agreements
• Schedule appointments for move-in and create move-in packets
• Must be able to travel to other locations (as needed)
• Execute competitive shopping
• Experienced with lease renewals preferred
• Respond to property management emails, calls, and in-person resident visits
• Plan and execute resident activities and events
• Traveling between sites required

Qualification

• Strong customer service
• Familiar with Yardi software (preferred)
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Detail Oriented and able to follow through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Computer skills and phone skills

Education

• High School diploma or equivalency (GED) required
• 1+ years of customer service or sales experience a must
• Associate degree or higher preferred
