**Lead Ramp Agent / Cabin Cleaner (Passenger Services)**

**QAS MCO - Orlando, FL - Part Time**

**QUANTEM AVIATION IS HIRING A LEAD RAMP AGENT/CABIN CLEANER (PASSENGER SERVICE ) AT ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (MCO)

TYPE: Part-Time / Non-Exempt**

Here at Quantem Aviation Services, we are a contractor who handles the loading and unloading of our customer's aircraft. We marshal the planes in, set them up, unload/reload, wrap-up, and send them out.

We work in all outdoor elements: RAIN, HEAT, WIND (even SNOW), and whatever else Mother Nature deems necessary for the season.

**THE COMPANY:**

Quantem Aviation Services offers a full range of high-quality aviation services including ground handling, passenger services, aircraft cleaning, cargo warehousing, cargo aircraft handling, and GSE maintenance.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Ensures all QAS and customer safety standards are met and maintained

* Maintains a safe working environment for subordinates

* Leads operations to organize the base in a manner free of hazardous situations

* As directed by the General Manager and/or Operations Supervisor, provides training for base employees

* Works with the General Manager and/or Operations Supervisor to maintain Quantem Customer Service standards

* Ensures that all flights that Quantem loads and/or unloads operate on time

* Responds to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner

* Properly and safely loads and unloads freight, including build-up and breakdown of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines

* Protects freight from elements, damage, and vandalism

* Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits

* Performs other duties assigned by QAS management

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**

* High School Diploma (or GED)

* Valid U.S. drivers license

* Must be able to pass required background and clearance requirements

* Successful completion of required airport badging process and pre-employment drug screening

* Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

* Must be professional and alert at all times

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

* Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak clearly and hear efficiently

* Must regularly lift and/or move up to, in excess of 25/55 pounds

* Must have the ability to climb 15-foot heights for work

* Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

* Potential exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time

* Noise level in the work environment may be excessive at times
