A Chicago-based company is building institutional-grade crypto trading infrastructure that will help to provide secure and streamline digital asset marketplaces for financial institutions. They are looking for a hybrid full-time Lead Java Engineer to build the next-gen digital assets trading platform where you will help to enable safer, faster, and more efficient trading of digital assets, bridging traditional finance infrastructure with blockchain technology

\nYou will be replacing the Head of Engineering where you will lead a team that is spearheading the future of digital asset trading infrastructure. The role is highly autonomous in which you will be able to work closely with stakeholders, build a marketplace from the ground up and tackle complex concurrent trading loads.

\n Required Skills & Experience
\n• 6+ years of professional experience
\n• Degree in Computer Science
\n• Experience with Java/Kotlin/ Springboot
\n• Cloud hosting knowledge (AWS or GCP)
\n• Experience with scalable backend systems with REST APIs
\n

\n• Strong communication and understanding of algorithms, data structures and performance optimization techniques
\n• Ability to wear many different hats in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment.
