Job Title: Land Acquisition Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist for our Operations Department to acquire undeveloped land or finished lots for development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with brokers, developers, property owners, and city officials to identify and purchase land for residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and organize land acquisition leads.
• Respond to new leads with initial plans and inquiries.
• Conduct title and municipal research for potential land.
• Facilitate meetings with sellers or their representatives.
• Gather and relay property information, seller demands, and terms to management.
• Prepare letters of intent for transactions.
• Maintain strong relationships with land developers, brokers, and landowners.
• Underwrite and analyze financial aspects of development opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with city officials.
• Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards in all dealings.

Travel Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Certificate from a five-year college or university program.
• Experience: 4-6 years in a related field (will consider more experienced candidates!)
