Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to join our team. This role involves significant technical responsibility and the management of large projects with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will rely on their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, working under general direction. As a member of the project team, the Lead Project Manager may lead and direct the work of others.

District Overview

Kiewit Power Constructors offers integrated engineering, procurement, construction and startup service needs, specializing in gas and coal-fired power generation, coal retrofit and renewable energy. From concept to commercialization, our full suite of EPC and startup services set industry standards for quality design and superior functionality in delivering power projects throughout North America.

Responsibilities

* Manage large projects with limited supervision.

* Utilize extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals.

* Perform various complex work and/or projects within specialty at the project level.

* Provide functional advice or training to less-experienced professionals.

* Mentor new hires and guide team members.

* Lead and direct the work of others as needed.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in managing large projects.

* Strong technical background and expertise.

* Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

* Ability to work under general direction and lead a team.

* Experience in providing training and mentorship to less-experienced professionals.
