Position Summary:

STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking Korean Language Interpreters for onsite roles. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native fluency in both English and Korean, possess excellent linguistic and cultural understanding, and be committed to delivering high-quality translations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, including emails, reports, marketing materials, and legal documents, from Korean to English and vice versa
• Conduct consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, conferences, and other events as required
• Ensure accurate translation of content while maintaining the intended meaning, style, and tone of the original text
• Research and stay updated on industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate translation of specialized texts
• Edit and proofread translated documents to ensure linguistic and grammatical accuracy
• Collaborate with other translators and team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across projects
• Communicate with clients to clarify translation requirements, address questions, and provide project updates
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations
• Use translation tools and software to enhance translation efficiency and maintain translation memory
• Continuously improve language skills and cultural knowledge through self-study and professional development
• Perform other position related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic:

• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
• Completely proficient with writing, reading and speaking Korean and English
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to interpret within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
• Proficient computer and internet skills for researching and translating documents

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior experience working as an interpreter in manufacturing environment
