Job Description

Frank Darling is an online female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings more accessible than ever before. We’ve been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and a number of other publications for our design, sustainability, and modern take on the bridal category.

We have an immediate, on-site opening for a Bespoke Designer. The ideal candidate is a design-savvy, detail-oriented jewelry professional that thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with strong interpersonal skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly to inbound phone calls, chats, and emails regarding wedding band appointments and purchase questions
  • Guide clients through the process of choosing wedding bands and fine jewelry
  • Confidently provide feedback on stack-ability and styling of collection styles
  • Meticulously curate and design custom pieces per customer's requests
  • Confidently providing real-time suggestions and compromises for the perfect look, prioritizing longevity and functionality.
  • Advise clients on practicality vs design
  • Advise clients on the differences between lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, and moissanite as well as gemstone options
  • Advise clients on all aspects of ring selection, from prong thickness to band thickness and setting style
  • Advise clients on all aspects of fine jewelry selection, from necklace and bracelet length, metal type, thickness, and stackability
  • Empower clients to feel confident in their jewelry addition(s)
  • Meet sales goals and close sales efficiently
  • Work with original designer, if needed, to collaborate on design and construction
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships as the main point of contact for all sale requirements

Requirements and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of fine jewelry styles and trends
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of empathy and professionalism
  • Ability to work proactively and think creatively to solve problems as they arise
  • Organized and comfortable multitasking and juggling many client requests at once
  • 1+ years sales experience in jewelry sales or bridal sales
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Computer Savvy and able to use multiple computer programs
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Details:

  • Full time on site role located in  Boston, MA
  • Office hours are 10AM to 6PM
  • Available schedules:  Thursday - Monday
