Job Details Job Location BBG Corporate - Ridgeland, MS Position Type Full Time Job Category Information Technology Description Job Summary: The IT Support Tech will assist the IT department in all aspects of networking, micro market installation and maintenance, firewall management, running network cable and electronic device support. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do. Install Micro Markets: Physically secure equipment in cabinets Determine the best location for cameras and physically install security cameras to observe products and purchases. Determine best network / internet connection available (customer provided/wireless.) Technical Support for Brown Group Companies Assist with smartphones and technical issues Tech support for desktops, laptops, and iPads OS updates for smartphones. Troubleshoot applications, software, and devices Training on use of electronic devices Report to Director of IT Report all outstanding issues that are not resolved that day Participate in all IT department projects as needed Report all expenses for reimbursement Physical Demands: Able to lift 10 lbs. frequently and 40 lbs. intermittently Able to bend, stoop and climb on an intermittent basis. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Work Environment: Position will work in various settings including office, industrial spaces, and outside. Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions Significant time spent traveling to locations. Qualifications Qualifications: Valid driver's license and approved driving record. 2-year associates degree required Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and co-workers. Knowledge of client/server infrastructure concepts, theories, and applications Experience with Microsoft Office 365 required Windows 7 and 10 experience IOS and android knowledgeable Must use personal vehicle to travel to locations and will receive mileage reimbursement. Understanding of network security and necessity Knowledge of network cabling a plus Brown Group Companies
