Systems Support Specialist (A/V & IT Integration)

Are you a jack of all trades in IT with some A/V knowledge who thrives in high-touch, dynamic environments? We are working with a private client seeking an IT Generalist to support integrated IT, networking, and audio/visual systems across multiple high-end properties.

This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and top-tier customer service, including direct support for executives. The right candidate will proactively identify and solve issues before they become problems.

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues across laptops, cell phones, networking, and personal devices.
• Troubleshoot and support A/V and automation systems across multiple locations (home automation, conference rooms, entertainment systems).
• Ensure the smooth operation of platforms such as Control4, Savant, and Crestron — familiarity with all three is expected.
• Monitor systems proactively to detect issues before they impact the family or executives.
• Deliver professional, discreet, and reliable support for high-profile individuals.
• Provide on-site presence across properties; occasional travel between local locations may be required.

• 5+ years of IT support experience with strong troubleshooting skills across devices, networks/VPNs, and connectivity.
• Background in A/V systems (home automation, conference room setups, entertainment systems).
• Experience with Control4, Savant, and Crestron (hands-on or at least strong working knowledge).
• Presentable, professional, and personable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to support executives/VIPs with the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to local properties.
