Our Ajax client, a premiere performance coating company, is looking for an Industrial Painter to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Paint parts and materials to required specifications in a timely manner
• Prepare and properly mask, blast, and fixture materials before painting
• Operate painting equipment for custom applications
• Load/unload skids, band, and tag completed parts for delivery
• Complete and maintain documentation
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of paint booth, tools, and equipment
• Perform maintenance duties and troubleshoot equipment
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and shop rules
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years of Industrial Painting experience
• Strong knowledge of prepping, masking, and blasting materials for paint
• Experience working with basic hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Sandblasting (asset)
• Comfortable working in a noisy/dusty environment
• Ability to learn new things and great attitude to work in a team environment

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $25-26 per hour
