Job Description

Job Title : IBM DataStage Developer (US Citizens Only)

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
Design and maintain workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading across various data sources.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL processes.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of DataStage jobs for efficiency and scalability.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings and ETL specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve ETL issues and failures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in production deployments.
Stay updated with IBM DataStage advancements and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience as an IBM DataStage Developer.
Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes in a data warehousing environment.
IBM Certified DataStage Developer.
Proficiency in IBM DataStage (Version 11.x preferred).
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
Experience in data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
Knowledge of job scheduling tools and automation (e.g., Control-M, Autosys).
Strong understanding of data quality and data governance principles.
Ability to work with large, complex datasets and design scalable solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Federal Experience is a plus.
Required Security clearance.
