We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with a location in Fridley and an opening for an Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude (truck experience a plus), understanding of cylinder repairs, detail oriented, a strong work ethic and the attitude to jump in and help out where needed. This position will be involved the with service and repair operations related to the repair of hydraulic cylinders for a large variety of customers’ equipment. All types of designs and sizes are serviced. We like to work hard, play hard and take pride in everything we do!

SCHEDULE:

2nd Shift, 3pm-12am, Monday-Friday, with 10% shift differential pay

The essential duties include:

• Dis-assembling cylinders
• Honing cylinder barrels
• Using a belt type polishing machine
• Inspecting all components using precisions instruments
• Careful inspections of surface finishes and condition
• Identifying and determining the proper seals
• Keeping tools and components clean
• Assembly and testing of cylinders
• Overhead lifting equipment is used to handle heavy work
• Tracking of all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
• Must be willing to float to where the shop demand is and work as a team player

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing the tasks outlined

• Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient, and friendly work environment
