HVAC Installer / Maintenance Technician

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including warranty services.
- Diagnose issues with malfunctioning systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on reheat coils and air handling units.
- Repair, replace, and adjust vents as needed.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations.
- Clear and ensure proper functioning of condensation drain lines.
- Travel to homes and businesses to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Discuss malfunctions with customers to identify problems and confirm repairs.
- Consult blueprints for optimal solutions.
- Test pipe joints for leaks and check electrical circuits for continuity.
- Install new systems or replace existing ones.
- Repair or replace defective equipment and parts.
- Fabricate parts and cut materials to specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including changing filters and cleaning ducts.
- Report on inventory and follow loss prevention practices.
- Keep company vehicle clean.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Certification or associate degree from an HVAC program at a technical school - Preferred
- Previous experience as a service technician
- Required EPA Certification in accordance with Federal Law.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in related field preferred.
- Physically agile, and able to work in confined spaces.
- Must speak English (Bilingual is a plus)
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools, including saws and pressure gauges.
- Experienced in using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and HVAC/R clamp meters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of following written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledgeable about tag-out procedures and electrical safety precautions; understands workplace safety and reports hazards.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
- Evening shift / On Call Opportunities
- Overtime
