We are looking for a highly skilled Heavy to join our team in Monroe, LA . at our landfill. First shift, starting at 10:00 a.m. Working 10-12 hours a day, 50- 60 hours a week. Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday’s. Pay Range: $20/hr. - 26/hr. Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit. On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation. Job Summary Performing preventative maintenance , repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems , along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess: 3 years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance. Heavy equipment operating experience. ASE Certified is a plus. Class A or B CDL is a plus. The salary range for this position is $20/hr. – 26/hr.
