C&L Autobody is a high-volume truck center servicing fleet accounts and local customers. Our company has extensive experience in heavy towing, light and medium duty towing, road service and emergency recovery.

Due to increased business, we are seeking to add an experienced, results-oriented individual with a stable work history for a Road Service Mechanic position.

$30 - $35 hourly

Duties:

• Responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigerated, chassis, and intermodal equipment
• Perform PM/FHWA inspections
• Majority of repair work and maintenance will be performed at a customer’s location or at an off-site breakdown
• Follow paper-flow procedures, including documenting correct mileage/hours, saving and tagging all warranty and core parts, and documenting all repairs
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and organized manner

Requirements:

• Knowledge of brakes and suspensions
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Knowledge of refrigeration units and related components
• Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on equipment
• Skilled in welding and cutting
• Skilled in DOT inspections
• Previous experience as a mechanic preferably 3+ years
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well independently
• Class A or B CDL a plus
• Clean Driving Records
