Express Employment Professionals are hiring a Handyman in Lenoir City, TN
Handyman Responsibilities:
-Property Maintenance & Repairs
-Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
-Perform repairs on faulty equipment, damaged structures, and essential utilities.
-Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to minimize disruptions.
-Manage heating, plumbing, and electrical systems to guarantee functionality.
-Plan and schedule maintenance work to ensure timely completion.
-Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems.
-Perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and minor construction.
-Assist with landscaping tasks as needed to maintain outdoor aesthetics.
-Facility & Equipment Management
-Maintain accurate inventory records for tools, equipment, and supplies.
-Ensure all work areas, storage rooms, and maintenance facilities remain organized.
-Work collaboratively with team members to address maintenance priorities efficiently.
-Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with workplace regulations.
-Customer & Member Interaction
-Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from residents, tenants, or management.
-Communicate upcoming maintenance work or repairs to minimize disruptions.
-Provide friendly, professional service while working
Qualifications:
V High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Valid driver's license
A certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
2 years' experience in a related handyman role.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-In-depth knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
-Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
-Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
-Effective problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Must be well-organized and be able to prioritize tasks.
-Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment for up to 8 hours at a time.

8am-5pm
