Arrow Alliance Industries is currently seeking a highly qualified Graphic Designer/Illustrator interested in joining our team of professionals to provide support to the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). The Graphic Designer/Illustrator will support the Lead Graphic Designer in creating visually compelling logos, branding materials, and other design assets for schools, ensuring they align with industry standards, the USWDS, and 508 compliance requirements. Reporting directly to the Lead Graphic Designer, this role focuses on executing design tasks that maintain the unique identity and branding of each school while adhering to established guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing logos, branding materials, and visual content that align with project specifications and USWDS guidelines.
• Design and create one-off logos, including logos with mascots for schools or sports teams, tailored to specific needs.
• Collaborate with the Lead Graphic Designer to create style and branding guides that ensure consistency across all design outputs.
• Develop illustrations, graphics, and other design elements using industry-standard software while ensuring quality and visual appeal.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall branding and visual identity of each school.
• Prepare drafts and revise designs based on feedback from the Lead Graphic Designer and project stakeholders.
• Test graphics across various digital platforms to ensure they meet accessibility standards and maintain visual integrity.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and tools, ensuring designs remain fresh and engaging.
• Support multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and quality standards set by the Lead Graphic Designer.

Qualification Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design/illustration with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and provable design experience, especially in the ability to design one-off logos, including logos with mascots for schools or sports teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design principles and branding standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while taking direction from the Lead Graphic Designer.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow branding guidelines while maintaining creative flexibility.
• Experience in creating designs that are 508 compliant and align with government design standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and articulate design concepts and ideas.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
