Role: GIS Analyst
Location: Indianapolis IN Hybrid
Job Description:
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) ComputerAided Design (CAD) or related fields.
Experience with orthorectification and Ortho imagery concepts.
Experience with GIS software and quality assurance/quality control processes.
Responsibilities:
Review Ortho imagery for positional accuracy resolution and clarity artifacts and anomalies color balance and consistency and seamlessness.
Review lidar Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) for accurate ground classification artifacts and noise data gaps and consistency and seamlessness.
Assess positional accuracy by comparing geospatial layers to reality.
Identify and report errors discrepancies and artifacts.
Collaborate with GIS teams to ensure data conforms to specifications.
Use vendor webbased viewing solutions for data review and assessment.
