Description

As the General Manager of a Maki of Japan Quick Service Restaurant you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of a food court restaurant located in the Opry Mills Mall.

You will provide leadership, direction, and supervision to the restaurant team, while ensuring a high level of Guest satisfaction, compliance with company standards, and achievement of financial goals.

What You'll Do:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

· Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.

· Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

· Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.

2. Operations Management:

· Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.

· Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.

· Monitor inventory levels and control costs to maximize profitability.

· Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

3. Guest Service:

· Maintain a high level of Guest satisfaction by delivering Exceptional Guest Service.

· Address Guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

· Train Team Members to provide excellent Guest service.

4. Financial Management:

· Develop and manage the restaurant's budget.

· Monitor sales and expenses to achieve financial targets.

· Implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.

5. Compliance and Safety:

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

· Maintain a safe and secure restaurant environment for both Team Members and Guests.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

· Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales, inventory, and financial performance.

· Maintain records of Team Members schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks.

What You'll Need:

 

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the quick-service restaurant industry 
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and hygiene.
• Financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of marketing and promotional strategies.
• Compliance with all legal and company policies.
