Job Details
Responsibilities
Lead the company's legal strategy, focusing on compliance with global crypto regulations.
Advise on securities law, corporate governance, intellectual property rights, and other transactional matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
Manage external legal advisors and oversee litigation and other legal proceedings.
Stay abreast of evolving regulations in the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology sector.
Provide clear, business-oriented legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience serving as a GC at a crypto organization (crypto infrastructure and/or Layer 2 solutions is a plus)
7-10+ years of experience of corporate law experience, with significant exposure to securities law and transactional work.
JD degree from a highly accredited university.
Exceptional analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to business challenges.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal concepts to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating a bias for action and adaptability.
Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain technologies.
