Functional Movement Specialist – Physical Therapy Plus

*Location:* Santa Fe & Los Alamos, NM
*Schedule:* Part-time or Full-time (flexible)

At *Physical Therapy Plus*, movement is medicine. Our team of physical therapists and wellness providers works together to help athletes, weekend warriors, retirees, farmers, ranchers, and everyday movers stay active and thrive.

We are looking for a *Functional Movement Specialist* to join our team and bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about functional training, injury prevention, and supporting clients as they transition beyond physical therapy into strength, resilience, and wellness.

What You’ll Do

* Deliver one-on-one and small-group functional movement and performance sessions.
* Support clients transitioning from PT care to long-term wellness and strength.
* Design evidence-based programs for mobility, strength, balance, and performance.
* Lead group classes (general wellness, mobility, or specialized strength sessions).
* Collaborate closely with physical therapists to ensure safe and effective progression.
* Foster an encouraging, community-driven environment.

Who You Are

* Certification in Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, Functional Movement (FMS), or related specialty.
* Skilled in functional training, corrective exercise, and movement analysis.
* Comfortable working with diverse populations (athletes, older adults, post-rehab clients).
* Strong communicator who values collaboration and patient-centered care.
* Professional, dependable, and excited to contribute to a mission-driven PT clinic.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.23 - $29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
