We are in the process of expanding our team and are currently seeking a Front End Developer. This role is primarily based in Chicago, Illinois, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Front End Developer, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise in .NET, Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps, and React with Next.js to an app development project for our dealers.

Responsibilities:

• Work on a dealer-specific app development project

• Utilize your skills in .NET, Azure Cloud, and Azure DevOps

• Apply your expertise in React and Next.js to develop and enhance the app

• Ensure the app's robustness and performance by conducting thorough tests

• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the app's functionality

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of the development process

• Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression

• Strive for continuous improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the app's user experience.

• Proficiency in Next.js framework is essential.
• Strong knowledge of React is required.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is necessary.
• A deep understanding of front-end development and related technologies.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing complex front-end solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and its implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks.
• Understanding of layout aesthetics and SEO principles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
