MadMen AI is a seed-stage AdTech startup based in Burlingame, CA. Our co-founders, Aman Jain and Vinay Jain , have spent over a decade building Ad products at Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. We raised $3.5m from top VCs and angels, including Wing, South Park Commons, and many more.

MadMen AI’s vision is to make an AI-powered ad agency accessible to every marketer. Imagine an AI that combines Don Draper’s creative genius with the sophisticated data-backed approach of a hedge-fund manager. Such expertise is typically limited to the Coca-Cola of the world. By democratizing access to this powerful combination, we’ll help smaller brands stand toe-to-toe with industry titans and help many more new brands be created.

The Role

We are looking to hire a founding AI engineer to partner closely with the CTO to build novel AI systems customized for AdTech. This involves fine-tuning LLMs, fine-tuning control-net-based Diffusion models, as well as applying traditional ML / Data science to building prediction models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ML, Computer Vision, or Diffusion models
• Hands-on-experience building with LLMs, including fine-tuning and using RAGs
• Proficiency in Python
• High independence and comfort with ambiguity

Nice to Haves

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
• AdTech Expertise : Past experience in AdTech ML will help shorten the learning curve.

Responsibilities

• Run evaluations using a variety of tools
• Build AI Agents using LangChain
• Fine-tune LLMs
• Leverage Computer vision libraries like OpenCV
• Data analysis using Pandas
