Shift : 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay rate : $20
Duration : One year

 
Summary : The primary function of a Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator is to operate industrial trucks or machinery in various environments, including warehouses, storage yards, factories, and construction sites. This role involves safely moving product loads around the facility to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them throughout the warehouse or facility for timely delivery.
• Operate vehicles to transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Use controls to operate lifting devices (e.g., forklifts, hoists) for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking materials.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes, securing products for transport to designated areas.

Skills :

• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and solve problems.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for optimizing manufacturing and distribution.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification need not be current. We certify for our site.
