About the Job

  • You'll enjoy the variety of analytical challenges as you conduct on-site forensic investigations that lean into your problem-solving abilities
  • Your expertise and thorough evaluations will be crucial in analyzing building failures, accidents, and damage claims
  • We'll rely on your ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports that stand up to questions
  • You'll engage with diverse stakeholders, from professionals to property owners, translating complex technical concepts into clear explanations
  • Your eye for detail will be essential in documenting findings through detailed photography and measurements
  • You'll develop practical solutions for structural and water-related issues
  • Regional travel (approximately once per week) will add variety to your work
  • You'll be encouraged to maintain professional certifications and stay current with industry standards

Required Qualifications

We are flexible on the number of years of experience, and we highly value talent, interest and work ethic. If you are just starting out in your PE career and are willing to learn and be trained, we are eager to meet you!

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with structural focus preferred
  • Experience in structural engineering, forensic investigation, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical ability to perform site investigations
