We are currently seeking a
Financial Analyst to join our
Multifamily Development Division in our
Downtown Miami headquarters. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career professional to contribute to the financial analysis and underwriting of new multifamily development projects, including market-rate, workforce, and affordable housing as well as to gain exposure and experience in other facets of real estate development as you grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Modeling & Analysis - Support the development and maintenance of financial models for prospective and active real estate investments.
- Assist with preparing financing packages for lenders, investors, and public funding agencies.
- Conduct market research to inform rent, expense, and absorption assumptions.
- Analyze rental trends and gather data through broker outreach and industry resources.
- Contribute to evaluating investment strategies, including cash flow projections, returns, and disposition scenarios.
Due Diligence & Budgeting - Participate in financial and physical due diligence for development and acquisition opportunities.
- Assist in reviewing contracts, budgets, and consultant proposals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Development Associates and Managers to support project feasibility analysis.
- Provide Excel-based analytical support to internal teams across the organization.
- Assist with special projects and executive presentations as needed.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
- Preference for 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in real estate finance, investments, or development (internships will be considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including modeling and analytical functions; strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with affordable housing financing (e.g., LIHTC) is a plus.
