Job Description

Position Summary: Adequately perform systems furniture installations without direct supervision for an igned project or service route.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints layouts drawings and floor plans to install systems product per detailed customer specifications.
• Use automated work order system to receive complete and closeout service work orders.
• Perform carpentry including building desks workstations files chairs and ancillary product from a variety of manufacturers.
• Move equipment and furniture as directed
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area
• Know and follow elished OSHA procedures
• Bring unsafe conditions to management’s attention or correct as able
• ist in other areas as needed

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2years experience as an installer or field technician specifying in systems furniture.
• Ability to read interpret and follow floor plans and blueprints
• Must be able to work flexible hours/start time including working nights & weekends
• Must be able to provide own set of basic tools
• Ability to travel 10% of time
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Frequently moves product & equipment weighing up to 50 pounds through warehouse and loading dock areas into finished customer space
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to remain in stationary position for long periods of time while riding in company vehicles
• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service finished goods
• Constantly positions self to complete service including under the desks files and in the server closet
• The person in this position frequently communicates with customers who have inquiries about their product Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Must be able to detect obstacles from long distances while driving or onsite
• Constantly works in or around construction conditions
• Constantly works in variable temperature situations both inside and outdoors
