Job Description

In this role, you will provide administrative support for the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Genworth. Ideal candidates will exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity, with an emphasis on confidentiality, as well as superb communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail. Responsibilities include managing incoming requests for senior leaders, maintaining calendars, organizing schedules and pre-reading materials, coordinating meetings and events, assisting with departmental projects, arranging travel, managing expense reports, assisting with budget creation and management, handling purchase requisitions and subscriptions, assisting with PAC administration and lobbying expense reporting, preparing PowerPoint presentations, providing superior customer service, organizing departmental records, providing administrative backup, collaborating with other assistants, assisting with onboarding, and project tracking/management. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 5+ years of senior administrative assistant experience, strong information processing and judgment skills, exceptional time management and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, strong communication and interpersonal skills, high integrity, proactive problem-solving, and flexibility in a changing environment.
