Job Title: Event Sales Manager (Weddings and Private Events)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11237

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Event Sales Manager to oversee the full sales and planning lifecycle for weddings and private events. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event sales, strong industry knowledge, marketing expertise, and experience with Tripleseat or similar event management software. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring seamless communication across departments and with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and secure wedding and private event bookings.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals.

  • Conduct venue tours and consultations to showcase event spaces, offerings, and packages.

  • Manage client inquiries, proposals, contracts, and event details using Tripleseat.

  • Own the post-contracting planning process, serving as the main point of contact for clients from the time of booking through the day of the event.

  • Liaise closely with internal production and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of event logistics and client expectations.

  • Serve as the on-site lead for event day-of coordination, managing client communication and production team alignment.

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure flawless event execution.

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive awareness and new bookings.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.

  • Present weekly updates to the team via reporting, highlighting sales performance, upcoming events, and client feedback.

  • Prepare detailed documents and event information to share with internal departments during BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings.

  • Maintain and update marketing materials, such as brochures and digital assets.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of experience in event sales, planning, or coordination within the wedding and private event industry.

  • Proficiency in Tripleseat or similar event management platforms.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage cross-functional coordination and client-facing logistics.

  • Experience participating in and preparing for BEO meetings.

  • A passion for creating memorable events and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000 per year , based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
