SB Events Co. | Based in Dallas – Travel Required
At SB Events Co., we craft immersive, high-end South Asian and multicultural weddings locally and overseas. We’re looking for experienced Day-Of coordinators to join our team of professionals who understand that flawless execution begins well before the event day.
This is a role for detail-oriented, poised individuals who take pride in being part of something meaningful, fast-paced, and culturally rich. There is room for growth in this role.
You’re a Fit for This Role If You…
• Have 1+ years of experience in weddings or live events (required)
• Can communicate clearly, quickly, and professionally via text, email, and group chats
• Are available on weekends AND for pre-event internal meetings (virtual or in-person)
• Can follow direction from a lead planner while confidently taking initiative proactively
• Stay calm and gracious under pressure —timelines shift, and you pivot without drama
• Are physically prepared to walk 10,000+ steps/day, lift up to 50 lbs, and stay on your feet for long hours
• Show up on time, in professional attire, ready to serve
• Respect all cultures and take genuine interest in learning about wedding traditions
• Are a strong team player who understands that preparation, presence, and follow-through are what set great teams apart
Requirements
• Access to a smartphone with group messaging or WhatsApp
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Professional attire
• A valid passport (preferred for destination weddings)
• Personal responsibilities (pets, children, etc.) handled during scheduled work hours
Flexible schedules is important for the success of this role.
Evening availability will be needed.
Role Details
Type: Independent contractor / Part Time
Compensation: Competitive flat rate per event (based on experience & event type)
Location: Based in Dallas with 50% travel (domestic/international)
Training: All coordinators go through a brief onboarding to align with SB Events Co.’s high standards of service
